About this 3D model

This relief was found at Argos, Peloponnese. It is the depiction of a heroised youth in the type of the Doryphoros (spear-bearer), with his horse. In his left hand he holds a spear and the horse's reins. This is the earliest depiction of the famous bronze statue of the Doryphoros made by Polykleitos in about 440 B.C.
