About this 3D model

This is the base of the skull of a leatherback sea turtle that was brought to the Virtual Curation Laboratory for 3D scanning by Ray Vodden of the Virginia Museum of Natural History. It was 3D scanned with a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner. Courtesy of the Virginia Museum of Natural History.
