Confiscated on Corfu, but probably found at Vouliagmeni, Attica. A woman wearing a chiton and a himation that she draws up with her right hand, sits on a stool. Before her stands a woman holding a jewellery box. At the left a young maidservant raises her hand to her face in a gesture of gried. The majesty of the dead woman recalls the goddess Hera in the Parthenon frieze. The monument, which had the form of naiskos with pilasters, is one of the most important of its kind.
