About this 3D model

This fragment was found in the sanctuary of Aphrodite at Daphni, Attica. This was the cult statue that stood in the goddess's temple. It is a contemporary of slightly later repetition of the famous statue of Aphrodite by Alkamenes known as the Aphrodite in the Gardens, which stood in the goddess's sanctuary on the river Ilissos.
