About this 3D model

Rodin often produced variations on a design and this marble is closely related to a bronze of 1885. The figures are somewhat larger than those of the bronze and the pose of the child is different. The group was brought by Sir Alexander Maitland's mother-in-law when she visited Rodin's studio in about 1906.
