About this 3D model

The low relief modelling and classical iconography of this memorial contrast with the more naturalistic style of Fontana's subject pieces. The work recalls monumental reliefs by the neo-classical sculptors Bertel Thorvaldsen and Lorenzo Bartolini which were themselves derived from classical tomb stelae. Dodd (1771-1850) was an auctioneer and print seller.
