About this 3D model

Three interlocked twisted rings, mathematically generated (thanks to MathMod). Depending on wrist size, it might even make a bangle - just adjust size to suit. Reduced to a small enough size, it might make a ring (although might be a bit bulky between fingers). Perhaps use as a pendant by just adding it to a neckchain. Regardless, figuring out how it was made is a sure conversation piece. There are no joins, so how is it created?
