Regarding the CLIP: It is used to attach two different cords together. It is designed primarily when a flat cord is meant to be attached to the lower part of the clip (normal for tents, outdoor hammocks, etc..) All cords that can fit into a diameter of 6.5 mm can be attached with normal scaling. Scale up the model to fit thicker cords. A two (2) mm nail can be used to seal the inner cord from getting loose. The design is very sturdy and optimized with regard to both strength and beauty. :) ASA is recommended as material for the hook. Strong. Suitable for Outdoor climate.
