About this 3D model

This is a 40mm fan adapter duct for MK2s. As MK2 extruder-body and extruder-cover are nearly identical, it should fit that as well. Since I use this part as my daily, I will call on this part as compatible on other designs such as MK2 Surround Nozzle that is also available here. Design highlights: super optimized part for airflow and mass reduction, material volume is only 7.6cc, half of most other designs. Design drawbacks: Due to extreme design parameters, one screw needed to be shortened mechanically by 2.5mm resulting in a M3 socket screw at 22.5mm from 25mm. I make no apologies for this adjustment as modding is an expected part of DIY ethos. Part is only tested with Noctua NF-A4x20, shorter or longer screws may be needed for other 40mm fans that don't have recessed sockets.
