The Thalvar Combat Wagon serves as a support vehicle for Maebwysh rhyflers operating across broken ground, pastureland, and other non-urban syrfaces. Its large armored wheel gives it excellent cross-country mobility where lighter wheeled vehicles bog down and conventional tractors struggle to keep their footing. It is not especially fast or comfortable on hard packjed roads and pther hard surfaces, where its drive system becomes inefficient and difficult to handle. The Thalvar is most often used to support advancing rhyflers and escorting patrols through difficult country. Its weapons are intended less for dueling enemy armor head-on and more for dealing with fieldworks, strongpoints, and light tractors encountered at close range. The vehicle’s limitations are well understood by its crews. On roads, paved yards, and hard-packed urban surfaces, it is awkward and mechanically demanding. In open country, however, it gives Maebwysh forces a useful combination of mobility, protection, and infantry support.
