About this 3D model

This portion of a leg slave shackle is from the collections of The Mariners’ Museum and Park (Accession Number 1999.0034). It was 3D scanned with a NextEngine Desktop 3D Scanner. This object was 3D scanned to expand the digital offerings of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities Encyclopedia Virginia related to slavery in Virginia.
