They slide into place under the aluminum fascia cover and stay put without any hardware. I'm sure there are other solutions out there, but I wanted to make my own. Appropriate holiday greetings to you, and most importantly, have fun. UPDATE 3/16/2020: I left these clips in place since they were printed (12/2018) and so far they've survived the northern New Jersey elements without any sign of deterioration.
