About this 3D model

This tricyclic epicycloid walkabout is inspired by the mathematics of structural geometry and the artists M. C. Escher, as well as, Robert Fathauer. It is walkable in the sense that it is like a path with stepped overpasses. Mathematically, it is a closed knot’ that cannot be unentangled with a simple move of untwisting.
