In Jeff's Words: This idea was inspired by a similar contraption made from wood and a Mason Jar. When I saw this I wanted to make my own, only with a more common can. Designing this was fun as it challenged my skills in 3D Modeling. When I pulled it off my Prusa i3 I was super suprised to see that turned out really good (as it was my firts attempt with the measurements). To My astonishment it worked! (As seen in the video)
