This is a dust pan that uses the can as a holder for all everything that you sweep up, so you only have to dump out everything you swept once instead of going multiple times. You cut the top of the can off. Then unscrew the back of the pan and slide the can in with the cut end toward the scoop area then screw the cap back on and you are ready to start sweeping.
