Miletus (Turkey), built into the "Goths' Wall"From the division of finds 1905; marble, 540 - 530 BC The torso of this stqtue of a girl was found built into a fortification wall of the 3rd century AD along with other older sculptures, inscriptions and architectural fragments. Originally, it probably belonged to the inventory of a sanctuary in Miletus along with some of these spolia. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
