The sitting figure of Nikarete executed in very high relief once belonged to a larger family group and is part of the remains of a monumental tomb construction, the pediment of which also came to Berlin. A lot of statuary groups almost sculpted in the round and in small temples (naiskoi) are preserved from the period between 350 and 320 BC.
