About this 3D model

A Sphinx is a winged lion, often shown with a woman's head. This sculptures head is lost, but it would have been similar to most other sphinxes from that time. As an animal figurine, it was probably set up at the base step of an entrance to a building, in particular the Cuccumella in Velci, Italy.
