About this 3D model

This figure is a copy of a Greek sculpture from the 2nd century BC, showing a boy approaching the deity with his hands respectfully hidden underneath his cloak, that would have been placed in a sanctuary. The Romans gave it a new significance as a genre portrayal of a child and it was since copied many times. The lightness and softness of the cloak portrayed in the hard stone is admirable.
