About this 3D model
The Olympus E-510 dSLR camera has a hinged memrory card door. The door is kept close with two small tabs moulded in the door that flex back when opening and closing. Since these tabs rely on a live hinge, they are subject to breaking over time with use. Making things more annoying is that the door is spring loaded to stay open and a small switch detects the presence of the door closed, preventing shooting when the door is open. While tape is useful for an emergency fix, it can leave a mess after a while. These tabs can be superglued directly to the door and will keep the door firmly closed without the need for tape.
