Adolf Furtwängler (1853 - 1907) was a German classical archaeologist and a member of the Olympia excavation team from 1878 to 1879. He became the directorial assistant at the Collection of Ancient Sculptures in 1880 and was the directorial assistant at the Antiquarium from 1882 to 1894.
