About this 3D model

This is a small fairy tree house, carved in an old tree trunk, designed for FDM printing. It can be used as a piece of terrain for RPG sessions, skirmish games, or wargames. It can also act as a decorative piece. The base has a radious of 27 cm (10.6 inch) and the tree is 22 cm (8.6 inch) high. The interior is about 8 cm (3.2 inch) wide. There are two floors inside. The model is made of 8 separate pieces. The stairs, stove, and upper floor's rail must be glued in after printing. The roof is placed inside the upper part (don't glue it down if you want to have a playable upper floor), but you may need to adjust the orientation to get it to fit properly (the mushrooms act as a handle to pick the roof up). The model prints quite well without supports, although to get the best results with the overhangs on the wooden roof above the entry door, I suggest you add manual tree supports (pre-set 3mf file for this part can be found in the download package). For standard printer settings (0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height), the time to print the model is about 22 hours.
