About this 3D model

This relief show the birth of Virgin Mary. While most Saints have their deaths commemorated, St John the Baptist and Virgin Mary have their birthdays celebrated instead. This particular depiction is a discarded model for the marble relief executed by Carlo Marchionni in 1748 in the Cappella del Voto in the Cathedral of Siena.
