About this 3D model

Filippo Strozzi, the man portrayed in this bust, was one of the richest and most powerful bankers of the time, and sponsored the construction of a sumptuous family palace in Florence. He also sponsored building the chapel in the Florentine church of Santa Maria Novella, deorated with sculptures by Benedetto da Maiano, who was also the author of this portrait. It was done in terracotta, as a test for a marble bust.
