About this 3D model
To avoid natural erosion of delicate porcelain. objects in the Waddesdon collection are often wrapped in cloth. This is used in the preservation and conservation and is a common practice for many collections. The marble statues lining the gardens of Waddesdon Manor are often wrapped in a similar way to avoid damage from the English weather. During summer, each statue receives an annual conservation top-up where they are brushed down and cleaned. More can be read about Waddesdon Manor's efforts in the conservation of their collection here.
