About this 3D model
This is a 5-in-1 puzzle for the Make Anything competition, based on the puzzle cubes in the video. The five puzzles all form approximate tetrahedra with side lengths of 4,5,6,7 and 8 blocks, where each block is a rhombic dodecahedron. Every puzzle uses all of the pieces in the directly smaller puzzle, as such: For size 4, use pieces 1—5, size 5, use pieces 1—9, size 6, use pieces 1—13, size 7, use pieces 1—19, and size 8, use pieces 1—27. I had to borrow a 3D printer at work, so I was only able to print the prototype (size 8), which is seen in the photo. The original (small_X) are a very approximately 1 cm wide, and the space between the pieces is 0.2 mm. I then made a second version (large_X) that is a little larger but with a 0.3 mm spacing. I doubt that all pieces are printable without support.
