I loved Meccano and Lego when I was a kid, Clickaloo can be exactly that replacement for my kids. When I started downloading the parts and researching, I found some additional parts on www.clickaloo.com These parts have since been added by Thibaut FEIX @Sig to the Clickaloo full construction kit. Unfortunately, my printer (a Snapmaker 3-in-1) only has a 125x125x125mm Build Volume. This left me in looking into using some of the smaller parts and combining them to form a larger part... Hole Large Arc Radial For the Large Arcs, I can only print the 8 hole (8HLA). This left me thinking how I can combine them to form a 16HLA. However, further investigation revealed that there is a misalignment on the first and last holes of the arcs, compared to the other holes. On all of the holes, one of the 8 pins are aligned on the radial, however, on the first and last holes, these pins are off by 11.25 degrees. On the HMA (Hole Medium Arcs), the offset of these pins is 15.0 degrees and on the HSA (Hole Small Arcs), the offset is 22.5 degrees. This puzzled me for a while and I contacted a number of people to determine why this would be? Was this a mistake or intentional? I couldn't get answers and decided to design a new set of arcs where the first and last holes' pins are aligned to the radial. I will submit these to this object for anyone to use. These will be known as HLAR (Hole Large Arc Radial), HMAR (Hole Medium Arc Radial), HSAR (Hole Small Arc Radial). Hole Large Arc eXtended These new Radial Arc parts, however, doesn't resolve my limited print volume space. In order to have a 16HLA (16 Hole Large Arc), I can use up to 8HLA parts and combine them to form 9HLA (two 5HLAs overlapping), or a 10HLA etc up to a 16HLA. I realised that it will be fairly thick (10mm) on each of the overlapping joints. This left me to redesign these connections to have them 2.5mm thick on the last hole, allowing a standard 5mm thick part at the overlap. These new parts will be known as HLAX (Hole Large Arcs eXtended). I decided the best would be to use different combinations of 5HLAX, 4HLAX, 3HLAX will be sufficient to form all of the different HLA parts. To fill the remainder of the 2.5mm first and last holes, there will be a 1HLAX that is only 2.5mm thick to patch these ends. Cylinders One of my designs for the Clickaloo Design challenge required a cylindrical part with holes perpendicular to the radial. I am aware that I could use 16HLA (16 Hole Large Arc) or 12MHA (12 Medium Hole Arc) with a number of 90SFA-I (90° Single Fold Angle – Inner). However, having an off-the-shelve
