About this 3D model
This sculpture is a statue depicting an Olympics disk thrower. The disk throwing was one of the events of the ancient Greek pentathlon, which can be dated back to at least to 708 BC. The discus thrower is a physically gorgeous, young male athlete frozen in the pose of launching his disc. Although he is involved in a demanding situation, his face and body are unusually relaxed and composed. His head is turned towards his left hand he bent up in front of his face.
