About this 3D model
I had an old blink camera that I wasn't using for much and decided it would work well as a monitoring camera for checking in on long prints while I'm not at home. There are a few mounts out there but I didn't want to have to screw it in for whatever reason. This one just uses a little hook mount to hook into the base of the mini's frame. There's a straight-on version and an angled version, i think the angled one is my favorite as you can put it all the way at the end of the frame and it still gets a good picture. Would likely also work for any printer that has the same frame. I got the idea to use the hook from the holder from the mini spool holder design here: https://www.printables.com/model/179551-prusa-mini-spool-holder I got the actual mini camera mount from this jperez's STL, found here... thank you!! : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2851232 Print Settings Printer: OG Prusa Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 20-25% gyroid, 100% any other Filament: Sunlu PLA Matte Grey Notes: Can mess with the angle to your liking for printing and how you want supports... most important part to print correctly is the point that connects to the printer frame - should definitely use gyroid infill if you're not doing 100% infill as any other will likely leave weak spots in that area. How I Designed This=================== Thingiverse I imported the STL from jperez into thingiverse and created the hook and whatnot for the attachment to the printer. Category: 3D Printer Accessories
