This stone sculpture depicts a Hindu creation myth, where the god Vishnu takes the form of a boar to rescue the Earth goddess (Bhudevi) from the depths of the primordial waters. Bhudevi stands to the right of the boar's head, and a serpent-goddess appears in front.
