About this 3D model

This is the 3D printed USB robot, with print in place, moving arms and legs! It serves as practical and cool replacement for the old and boring USB stick, with a soft flexible head to keep the actual connector safe and scratch-free. The model is sturdy, even when printed in more brittle materials such as Woodfill or PLA. When plugged into a computer, the hand can be used to hold the head to prevent you from losing it. It was modelled in fusion 360 to fit the standard 45mm USB pcb, for which there are instructions included on how to get it out of its original casing, or where to buy one instead. It prints in 5 parts, but is easy to assemble, and can be done without using glue, although it is probably preferable, and will increase the durability of the print greatly. There is also a rubber TPE insert in the head, but if you do not own flexible filament it can be printed in PLA, but will wear down much faster. Finally this doesn't require any kind of support material and the design is not from anywhere in particular. Thanks for downloading and enjoy :)
