About this 3D model

This horse femur was found in glacial deposits at Monroe in Orange County, New York. It was originally thought to have dated to the Ice Age but was determined to a historic horse buried in the deposits. It is the first catalogued item in the New York State Museum cataloguing system for fossils. Museum number VP1.
