About this 3D model
This giant ground sloth mandible originally was assigned to Megatherium mirabile but is now considered Eremotherium rusconii. The mandible was collected in Georgia in 1823. It was 3-D scanned with a Go!Scan 50 at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum Department of Paleobiology on June 26, 2018.
