You should watch this video! Yep, this is a nifty way to take an Ikea floor lamp and turn it into continuous lighting for video! It was fun and effective! I won't go into further detail here, though - listen to me ramble on for far too long in the video instead, and you'll learn far more than you wanted to about it :D
