About this 3D model

This is a sculpture also known as a Soul and Body, an enigma. It is an assemblage of the head of Fugit Amor from The Gates of Hell, a female Torso and the body of a horse from Rodin's Monument to General Lynch. Rodin exaggerates the stretch of the body. The arms grasping the marble support may be an echo of the centaur throttling the Lapith on the Parthenon metope to the right.
