Madonna with Child from Väversunda Church, Östergötland. Oak. Traces of polychromy. 65 cm. Virgin Mary is sitting on a gothic bench with the Christ child on her lap. She wears a veil on her head, but her crown is now missing. The sculpture was probably made in Sweden around 1300. ______________ This object was scanned by Historiska, The Swedish History Museum
