About this 3D model

A CFD analysed and optimised mount and part cooling duct for E3D V6 and Volcano hotends, to mount on the standard Creality X carriage. It's designed to generate a focused, converging cooling flow from a single 5015 blower. This is a revision of an earlier proven design. All parts will print without support. 4 walls and a top/bottom thickness of 1.2mm will produce strong, durable parts. I'd suggest PETG. EZABL offset: X = 43.3, Y = 0.BLTouch offset: X =34.6, Y = 0 Requires 2off M3 x 30 countersunk bolts to clamp heatsink.1off M3 x 25 countersunk bolt to secure 5015 fan.Duct and ABL mount both require 1off M3 x 15 socket head bolt.Each bolt threads into a M3 nut. 6/3/19: A few tweaks to the mount and clamp bar. The mount now has clearance for the 4.5mm hotend studs on the newer Creality X carriages, and the clamp bar is now secured using 2off M3 x 30 cap head bolts.
