Boost Me If you found this model useful, consider boosting me to help support future projects! Inspired from Lee Valley's Magnetic Chisel Guard (09A0226), which only comes in a few sizes and is metallic, I've decided to create my own chisel tip guards. I find that most friction fit tip guards loosen overtime, as it gets used and stretches out. This is a perfect opportunity to use a small magnet to hold it in place. Works great when hang on the wall. Requires: 6x3mm magnets Print Settings: 0.4mm nozzel 2 perimeter 10% in fill PETG preferred, since it's slightly softer. I'm sure TPU works too, but I didn't try it. The magnets simply press fits into place (hole size 6.1mm diameter). Adjust print size if your magnets are slightly over or undersized, taking into account of the print's shrinkage. Use a dab of superglue if you want to. For me the 0.1mm oversize comes out as a snug friction fit on Bambu X1C with PETG filament.
