Photogrammetry scan of Antonín Dvořák's statue, which stands in front of Prague's Rudolfinum to celebrate the composer's work and achievements in and out of the building. The pictures for photogrammetry were taken with a Panasonic GH5 and Meshroom was used to reconstruct the model following this tutorial:https://www.prusaprinters.org/photogrammetry-2-3d-scanning-simpler-better-than-ever/ Antonín Dvořák was a Czech composer, one of the first to achieve worldwide recognition. Neil Armstrong played his symphony "From the New World" during his first steps on the Moon. The statue was commissioned by the city of Prague in 1949 from sculptor Josef Wagner a architect Pavel Smetana. It was finished in 1958, closely after Josef's death, but was not erected in front of Rudolfinum until 2000, as Zdeněk Nejedlý, the minister of culture at the time, suggested in 1951 that another artist would be more appropriate. Nejedlý's antipathy for the composer was driven by Dvořák's daughter refusing his hand and instead marrying another musician.
