About this 3D model

In 1674, the busts of thirty illustrious men who marked the history of the city were placed in the gallery of the town hall in celebration of its past. Marc Arcis fashioned Marcus Antonius Primus in a Renaissance breastplate. In naming him Marcus, de Toulouse Palladienne, gloire incontestée, the Roman poet Martial placed the city under the protection of the goddess of the arts, a practice that continued into the seventeenth century.
