Description The Crimson Legion Shock Squad is the face of the Dominion in formation, a rare case in which an alliance of free lords ceases to resemble a rabble and begins to look like a true army. The Dominion gathers beneath its banners all those who rejected the Protectorate, its laws, and its faith for countless different reasons, and so within its ranks are mixed bandits, revolutionaries, and fanatics, with the fanatics becoming the greatest threat of all, for they cannot be bought, intimidated, or halted by losses. This unit belongs to the line infantry, well trained and disciplined, and by the way its fighters hold their weapons and work together with such confidence, it is clear they were taught not merely to shoot, but to wage war by the book, as in the Protectorate itself, only now against it. Heavy helmets and masks conceal their faces, their armor is covered in rivets and marks of allegiance, and their equipment looks far too well made for rebels, because it is forged and stamped on industrial worlds where the Dominion has learned to buy steel as skillfully as it buys men.
