Bust sculptured by Conrad Dressler: Presented by Mrs. J. A. Symonds: Miss North's sister' Marianne North was a remarkable Victorian artist who focused on botanicals, including finds from her travels. Her gallery at the Kew Gardens in London showcases 833 of her paintings displayed in geographical order, which she hung after travelling around the world.
