About this 3D model
Antenor was the Legendary founder of Padua, he fled with his companions from a ruined Troy and from crossing the Adriatic sea he settled in the area now known as Padua. His statue replaced, on May 4th 1776, that of a sculpture of Cicero, which Andrea Memmo had provisionally built on the 20th October 1775. This is the work of the Paduan sculptor Francesco Andreosi, with a motto carved on the shield "SCILICET ET TEMPUS VENIET" (And the time will come). On the pedestal is the epigraph (now destroyed): ANTENORI-CIVITATIS AD HONOREM-PRAESES ANDREAS MEMMUS MDCCLXXVI.
