The artist says: "My work has predominantly a strong relationship to the human condition both physical and spiritual. Recent work has been concerned with both the fragility of our bodies, relationships and the passage of time. This work has originated, in part, from a commission undertaken for the University of Liverpool in 2007." The University of Liverpool commission Kardia can be viewed in the entrance to Cedar House, Ashton Street.
