About this 3D model

Somebody in the Laser Engraving and Cutting group on Facebook asked for a file for a similar holder in a photo (see the example photo/screenshot above - it is not mine) and I thought it would make a good gift for some family that have a travel trailer that has dual axles. Should also fit vehicles with tag axles or similar. Much of the constructive discussion was about how different trailers/vehicles/dishes would require different dimensions so I "drew" it up in OpenSCAD so it would be customizable. My router is not big enough to cut the file with the text so I omitted it for the first holder I cut out. Since I don't have a trailer, I put it on the tire of my motorhome (see picture - it works okay but is at an angle) but it's really meant to have a tire on both sides. I got the photo back from my family member who has a trailer so I added photos of it working as intended. The file can generate SVG/DXF for laser/router or STL for 3d printing. You will have to download the file and load it in OpenSCAD to change it to 2d if you want the SVG/DXF (limitation of the online customizer - it won't generate the 2d files).
