About this 3D model

A remix made for the "Game of Thrones - Drogon fire dragon lamp" made by Bozzman! This remix improves two aspects of the original design: I have made the fire more realistic looking. I personally printed the fire with two wall perimeters (and no bottom/top layers) as I found the originally recommended spiral vase mode would cause the fire to be very fragile and break easily. I have made a base that the fire snaps onto. This base was designed to wrap an LED strip around the pole. However, I have also added the flat plate part of the base so others can modify it to fit other bulbs/designs. Depending on your printer, you may need to adjust the scaling of the base by ~1% either way to allow the fire to properly snap onto it. There is also a small notch in the side of the base to allow the light's cable to exit. If you need a bigger notch you can just quickly cut away some volume in tinkercad. The rest of the build I recommend to follow the original instructions… I printed the dragon in separate pieces and glued them together. Printed using hatchbox white and black pla.
