About this 3D model

Design created using parametric design in rhino/grasshopper. Base consisting on hexagonal fractal structure. Voronoi surfaces are applied to one every to faces. The top of the base has a gutter union in order to attach the Pine-like top of the trophy. Top of the design is inspired by nature and remembers a pine. A lattice structure has been included in the top of the base in order to make the gutter union lightweigth. Both parts together push the limits of AM and take full advantage of the freedom of design that these manufacturing technologies offer. Two different 3d models in stl format (TOP and BASE) are provided.
