About this 3D model
This decorative plaque, originating from Denia (Alicante), is typical of the heyday of the Taifa of Denia, featuring extraordinarily refined vegetal motifs. The 11th Century architectural work was carved expertly from marble. The taifa of Dénia was an Islamic Moorish kingdom in medieval Spain, ruling over part of the Valencian coast and Ibiza. With Dénia as its capital, the taifa included the Balearic Islands and parts of the Spanish mainland.
