A Hobo Reel is a bushcraft tool. It is a fishing pole designed to fit in your backpack and is traditionally carved from wood, but this should last a lot longer so it's better. I designed this with custom pipe threads and a deep shaft to ensure the cap and handle are watertight when assembled without the need for an o-ring or a gasket. I have tested it and it is indeed watertight. It also floats, which is a bonus. The inner cavity is meant for storing whatever tackle you may decide to pack this with.
