About this 3D model

This figure of Louis Major, cast in bronze by the Bell Foundry of Asten (Koninklijke Klokkengieterij), stands on a base of bluestone. Here, Major is presented as an orator, standing upright, pointing his right hand forward and his finger raised, left hand in his pocket. The inscription reads “Louis Major 1902-1985 Socialist foreman”. Louis Major was a qualified social assistant, who start a trade union career as a secretary for several prominent Belgian Unions.
